St Ann’s shopping centre wanted to create a monthly kids' club to help draw in families year-round. The centre's goal was to provide educational and entertaining activities, both on-site and take-home, with rewards for parents who returned month after month. The activities varied from exploring the garden with creepy crawlies, to a harvest festival with food exploration.
Each event needed to have its own theme and collateral, however, all the events needed to be tied together with one art style. After I came up with several concept ideas, the client chose to proceed with a minimalistic illustration style. Following this, the initial collateral was created in the form of various print pieces, a reception desk and online/social pieces.
As the year progressed, I was in charge of the collateral for each event, ensured that the style and finish tied into the overarching theme.
